Resources

I am semi-new to writing erotic fiction and thought I would spice up my life- and become a better writer!- with entering a few competitions and finding resources about erotic fiction writing.

General Resources

Looking around, I was especially impressed with the resources of The erotic Readers and Writers Association and Romance Divas.

After getting involved with the Writer's Challenge, I also started to document what I learned every time I wrote a new story. Most of this is basic stuff, but if you are interested, you can find it here.

Competitions
I am currently working on submissions for the Daily Mail with 4,000 words to be handed in at the end of October, but would love to get a more structured approach to writing going. Let me know if you have got any great tips!

Other competitions I have my eye on are 10,000-20,000 words for Storm Moon Press on the topic of 'Missed Connections' (January 1, 2013), 1,500- 4,500 words for the Sex Objects competition about Alpha Males (October 12, 2012) and anthologies under the titles 'Multiplicity' and 'Dracones' (both due at the end of October).

Anti-writers block ideas
You can now find a brilliant list of sex words, to be used with or without the word generator, here

I also really enjoyed this name generator (as you don't know whether you are going to get someone male or female). If you need a super posh name, you could also use this.
