Another week, another Sunday! Here is my sinfulsunday flashfiction entry for this week!
Unfortunately I have not written as much as I wanted to in the last days, but (re)discovering NaNoWriMo has really inspired me to make a proper start on a novel. I just finished a 1000 word outline today and can't wait to get started on the first of November!

Challenge #3
Creating the text for Challenge #3 was more fun than I thought! It took me a bit longer and I got stuck into the scene more than I wanted to in the beginning, but in the end all is well and I and my characters are satisfied. What is not to like?
You can meet Diana and the dark stranger in an alley here. Enjoy.

Thank you twitter!
I am really starting to enjoy the amazing erotic romance community on twitter. Some of these people are real heroes of mine and it is always delicious when they answer your tweets and post amazing stuff!
I also come across the #sinfulsundayflashfiction competition on twitter and really hope to participate again. Writing super shorts (eg 200 words) feels like just the right length for me at the moment. You can now find the hot prompter and my story here. Of course, the other entries are smoking, too, and you can read about them on Rebecca Grace Allen's website.
Having started the very productive tradition of writing a story before lunch, I will endevour to do that again today. I have just got the same amount of time left as yesterday, so that should fit nicely. Keeping my eye out for what audiences want (and eventually would pay for), I want to get better BDSM (and m/m), so riding on the rough sex wave from yesterday's competition, the words

Learning from Challenge #2
You can now find Challenge #2 here. It's quite fluffy with a bit of strong language, but I feel it's much better than what I wrote last night. Let me know if you beg to differ!
Writing in the past tense was much easier and giving the characters more story, too. What I struggled with this time was coming to an end, so I will try to read a bit more erotica this afternoon, checking out how people end their books and stories.
Hopefully there is at least one more story to come this afternoon!

Writer's Challenge #2
After my first m/m writing yesterday, it looks like I will throw myself into some f/f today!
1. oily
2. attain
3. sand
2. attain
3. sand
(Couldn't have picked any weirder words, thanks generator!!)
This one might take a bit longer as I will have to go and make lunch in an hour, but learning from yesterday, there should be less story, more character description and fewer words today. Fingers crossed.

Learning from Challenge #1
So, Oliver and Leroy turned out to live in New York and they met in the rain and because of a taxi. You can read about them (and Leroy's obscene mouth) here.
In the end, writing the story (and some minor editing) turned out to take an hour and a half and no alcohol. I am such a good girl!
Here are some things I learned:
1. I need to start out the story with the 'real words', not notes, because I will then get into the flow and have to rewrite everything in the end
2. I need to have more faith into my imagination and that I WILL think of something (that was much easier than expected)
3. 1,000 words are not a lot. Maybe I should try to just concentrate on one scene or increase my word limit
4. Present tense sucks
5. After reading years of m/m erotica, writing it is not half as difficult as I imagined it would be!
Already looking forward to tomorrow and three more words. Good night for now!

#1 Writing session
After procrastinating some more with a name generator (plus a brilliant resource to stuff as much poshness as possible into an English name) and finally generating three sex words, I am now finally about to get writing properly. Here is tonight's challenge:
1. SEXUALLY FIXATED
2. laugh
3. large
Oliver and Leroy.
Looks like I am actually going to start off my first session with some m/m which is a bit scary but will be educational.
See you later! (eg: 'No more procrastination for you, Clara!')
